CVC AND ENVIRONMENT.
The CVC, even in times when no specific legislation existed and sensitivity to environmental issues was the prerogative of a few, has alwayspaid extreme attention to the protection of the Island that houses the School and the entire Maddalena Archipelago by contributing to the preservation of the Natural Park. For this reason, it is the clear purpose of the Foundation to "export the caprera model" through research and dissemination. The M.A.R.E. Project is the tool we have given ourselves to achieve this goal.

CITIZEN SCIENCE
Marine Adventure for Research & Education already says a lot about the project, now in its third year of operation. Together with Scientific Partner One Ocean Foundation, the Foundation in 2021 launched a Citizen Science program on the Mediterranean Sea with the aim of monitoring marine biodiversity, assessing the presence and levels of various persistent contaminants in marine zooplankton samples, and organizing activities to raise awareness of environmental issues.
Catamaran One, a true scientific platform sailed in 2022 through the entire Tyrrhenian Sea, to move in 2023 to the Adriatic Sea through 6 countries taking on an international dimension. In 2024 the Project will move to the Central Mediterranean through Italy, Spain and France.
