Centro Velico Caprera is the ideal place to start
Thanks to an intensive method refined over more than 50 years of experience, by the end of the first week you will be able to master the fundamentals of boat handling and the main skills.
You can choose to start either on a dinghy (small boats for sporting use that require more physical effort) or on a cruising yachts ('dry' boats, meaning boats that cannot capsize and are suitable for recreational use).
Below you will find a selection of courses that you can access without any previous experience but if you have any doubts please contact us by filling in this form or call the secretariat at the times indicated in the contact section.
Please note: all courses except Sailing for the Environment are all year round courses, with overnight stays at the base and not on the boat.
