We start the year and we do it with a bit of education. The new edition of the Prada Cup will start soon and will be followed by the America's Cup. Flying boats, very high speeds but above all the return of many traditional elements in the course, tactics and markings. Although we are not traditionally a regatta school, we know that many of you are following the event passionately, thanks also to the presence of the legendary Luna Rossa of skipper Max Sirena, a great friend of the CVC who has often connected with us to reveal the secrets of the Cup. For these reasons we have decided to make a web series on YouTube in which, together with sailing super-professionals such as Gabriele Bruni and Roberto Ferrarese, we will not limit ourselves to commenting on the images but, with the support of the graphic board, we will try to make mini-lessons to give everyone the chance to enjoy the show at its best, without taking anything for granted as often happens on television networks. Each episode will be divided into two parts: in the first one an explanation on the blackboard for beginners, in the second one a direct analysis on the Xmas Race videos.
We have prepared five episodes for you, which will be revealed one by one until the start of the Prada Cup on 15 January.
To make sure you don't miss them, don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel to be updated on the next releases. In the meantime, enjoy the first episode dedicated to Departures with Gabriele "Ganga" Bruni that you can find here at this link.
