A red ribbon on every boat that will be on the water on 4 July to say no to gender-based violence. The initiative launched by the 10000 Sails of Solidarity association has a simple yet important aim: to show that the sailing world is united in supporting gender equality and condemning violence and discrimination.
An initiative that as CVC we have not hesitated to support (you will find us on the association website among the sponsors) and that we will concretely support on July 4th by hoisting a red ribbon on every tree in the water of Caprera. But since only a fraction of the people of Caprera will be physically on the island on the day of the mobilization, we ask all those who will be sailing, wherever they are, to show their support by letting a red ribbon fly on their boat (it doesn't have to be at the masthead, just visible).
At Caprera we have always been all the same, in the water and out: we do our part to make the world a little more like the island we hold in our hearts.
